E600 Full Replacement
Alternating Air Mattress
True alternating air — 1-in-2 cycle for active Stage 4 therapy
The E600 is a full replacement alternating air mattress designed for clients with active, complex pressure injuries requiring intensive, continuous therapy. Its 20-cell TPU air system operates on a proven 1-in-2 alternating cycle — one cell deflates completely while its adjacent partner inflates — providing periodic total relief of pressure at every point of the body across the full mattress surface.

Full Replacement System — Not a Mattress Overlay
Unlike overlay systems that sit on top of an existing mattress, the E600 replaces it entirely. This eliminates any foam base contribution to interface pressure — ensuring the maximum therapeutic benefit of the alternating air cycle is delivered directly to the client. For Stage 3–4 pressure injuries, a true full replacement system is the clinical standard.

Inflated — supporting client weight
Deflated — pressure relief zone
Why 1-in-2 alternating? In a 1-in-2 cycle, every second cell deflates completely during each phase — creating a genuine zero-pressure window at every body contact point over every cycle period. This periodic complete pressure relief is the clinical mechanism for promoting blood flow, reducing ischaemia, and enabling tissue recovery in clients with active Stage 3 and 4 pressure injuries.
Clinical Indication
Indicated For
Stage 3–4 Pressure Injuries
Clients with active, full-thickness pressure injuries requiring continuous therapeutic alternating pressure. Also suitable for clients at high risk of Stage 3–4 development due to compromised tissue viability, limited repositioning tolerance, or palliative care needs.
E600 vs E500 Comparison
Full Replacement vs Hybrid
The E500 is a hybrid system — foam topper over air cells — suited to Stage 1–4 where the client can tolerate some surface firmness. The E600 is a pure air system for clients who require maximum pressure relief from the surface itself, particularly those with deep tissue injuries or significant wound complexity.

Key Design Features
20 Individual TPU Air Cells
Thermoplastic polyurethane cells provide superior durability, welded seam integrity and resistance to the stretching forces of client movement over extended periods.
Pure Guard Antimicrobial Cover
Clinical-grade antimicrobial fabric with Hydro Lock Barrier — essential protection for an open wound environment where infection control is a primary clinical concern.
Side Air Release Tubes
Quick-release tube connectors on each side allow the pump to be detached for transport or service without deflating the entire mattress — maintaining client safety during equipment changes.
Full-Length Side Zipper
Zip runs the full length of the mattress for rapid cover removal, decontamination and inspection of the air cell layer by clinical staff.
