Steady Spoon
Keeps the spoon bowl level to prevent spillage, even with tremor or arm movement
The Steady Spoon uses built‑in counterweights to keep the bowl level, reducing spillage for users with tremor or limited arm control. A hook‑and‑loop strap secures the spoon to the hand, so a strong grip is not required, and the added weight provides useful proprioceptive feedback for children with pervasive developmental disorder (PDD) or sensory integration challenges.
It is offered with adult and pediatric handles, is BPA, phthalates and latex free, and can be cleaned in a dishwasher up to 220°F. The spoon is not microwave safe. Size options include a pediatric handle (4½" L × 1⅛" D) with a 7¾" bowl and a 4" strap, and an adult handle (5½" L × 1¼" D) with a 9½" bowl and a 5" strap, plus a teaspoon‑size bowl for smaller meals.
