Complete Positioning Control
Four independent electric functions give caregivers and users precise, safe control over every aspect of positioning — all from a single backlit handpiece.
Raises the backrest up to 62° for sitting up comfortably to eat, read or watch TV.
Bends the knees up to 42° to improve circulation, prevent sliding and add comfort.
Raises or lowers the entire bed platform (22–66 cm) for safe transfers and carer back care.
Tilts the full bed platform for pressure injury prevention and circulation management.
Ultra-Low — 22 cm from Floor
The IC333's minimum height of just 22 cm from floor to mattress platform dramatically reduces fall risk for residents prone to rolling or attempting to exit the bed unsupervised. It also lowers the distance of any unassisted transfer, reducing injury severity.
Unlimited under-bed clearance means hoists, wheelchairs and lifting equipment slide underneath without obstruction — reducing physical strain on carers during repositioning.

Trendelenburg & Anti-Trendelenburg
The IC333 offers full Trendelenburg (feet elevated) and reverse Trendelenburg (head elevated) positioning — an evidence-based clinical tool for shifting pressure points without repositioning the patient manually.
Used regularly and incrementally, Trendelenburg tilt prevents pressure injuries by redistributing weight away from bony prominences. It also supports circulation management, post-surgical recovery and respiratory positioning.
- Shifts pressure away from sacrum and heels without manual repositioning
- Supports lower-limb oedema management and venous return
- Assists lung drainage and respiratory positioning
- Reduces need for frequent manual turns by carers
- Ideal for complex care, post-surgical, and palliative settings
Backlit Handpiece — Simple, Safe Control
The wired handpiece features large, clearly labelled buttons for each function. The backlight illuminates automatically for night use, allowing residents to safely adjust their position in the dark without calling for assistance.
The wired stretch cord keeps the handpiece within reach at all times, and a hook attachment lets it hang securely from the bed rail when not in use. The surface is fully wipeable for hygiene compliance.

Strong Breathable Mattress Platform
The IC333's deck uses a heavy-gauge metal mesh surface beneath the mattress, allowing significantly increased airflow compared to solid platform bases. This improves mattress performance, extends mattress life, and is especially important for pressure care mattresses that rely on airflow to function correctly.
End and corner mattress retainer bars are included as standard, preventing the mattress from shifting during position changes — an important safety feature for residents in the Hi position.
